This harness is designed to plug directly into the GM Chevrolet performance bulk head connector. It will let you use and 8L90E  with the Chevrolet Performance LT1, LT4 and LT5 GM crate engines. The TCM will require a special program in the transmission controller to work with the Chevrolet Performance Crate engines
