Description
The TCM-2650 Gateway will allow you to get the GM 6L45E, 6L50E, 6L80E and 6L90E transmission to operate with any engine that you can get it bolted to. These kit lets convert any GEN 3 Chevrolet engine that is not using the 58X operating system in their ECM. 2007 and newer have the correct ECM calibration. We offer either 6L80E and 6L90E (additional core fee) transmissions kits. This kit includes a choice of torque converter to get the most performance from your engine. The TCM2650 requires a throttle position signal and and engine RPM in order to make this function. We supply a remote TPS kit if needed. The transmissions internal computer is reprogrammed with a base tune that will get the vehicle drive-able. Any adjustments to shift feel and shift patterns require reprogramming the TCM that is inside the transmissions. This can be accomplished by using HPtuners or EFIlive, just to name a couple. The TCM2650 is a gateway/ body control module is not a standalone controller. The included the following hardware:
- Transmission
- Stock torque Converter
- TCM-2650 and Harness
- Remote Throttle Position Sensor (Not needed if Fuel Injection already has one).
